Why CARE4ME Exists
I didn’t plan to start a nonprofit – I simply answered the call to care.
Over 15 years ago, I became a family caregiver. What started as a temporary role turned into a lifelong mission. I found myself navigating medical decisions, managing appointments, handling medications, and providing emotional support day after day. I gave everything I had out of love – but it came at a cost.
There were times I felt invisible. Overwhelmed. Forgotten. And I learned I wasn’t alone. Across the country, thousands of family caregivers give everything of themselves with little support, few resources, and almost no rest.
That’s why I founded CARE4ME – a faith-based organization born out of experience, grounded in compassion, and built to serve.
We offer what I wish I had:
Respite care that allows caregivers to breathe
CPR and caregiving training to strengthen skills
Mindfulness and wellness workshops to restore peace
Financial assistance to cover critical care not covered by insurance
Ceremonies and spiritual support to honor milestones that often go unnoticed
At CARE4ME, we believe caregivers shouldn’t have to carry the weight alone. We walk beside them – just as I once wished someone would walk beside me.

Our Mission

- Empowering Individuals: Encouraging personal growth, self-awareness, and holistic well-being.
- Environmental Stewardship: Honoring and protecting the Earth through sustainable practices and education.
- Community Service: Supporting marginalized groups and promoting social justice through active outreach and engagement, including providing medical resources to those in need.
- Lifelong Learning: Providing opportunities for spiritual, ethical, and intellectual development.
