What is Respite Care?

Respite care is a short-term care arrangement that allows primary caregivers to take a break from their responsibilities and spend time for themselves. It can last from a few hours to several weeks, and can take place in a variety of settings

Who Needs It?

Is typically needed by caregivers who are responsible for looking after elderly adults, individuals with disabilities, or those with chronic health conditions. This type of care provides a safe and engaging environment for the individual, giving caregivers a temporary break to rest, attend to personal needs, or manage other responsibilities. It’s also beneficial for those who may feel isolated, as Adult Day Care offers social interaction and activities that enhance the well-being of the individual receiving care.
